Printpak version 4 in other languages

Printpak version 3 was available in English and Spanish. With the experience we gained we have built a multi-language facility into version 4. If you would like to see Printpak in YOUR language, and might be prepared to undertake the translation yourself and would like to distribute Printpak in your country, this page lets you see what is involved and what the benefits are for you.

This involves 2 stages.

a) We supply an Excel spreadsheet of all the English phrases and sentences used in Printpak, a file containing all the help text, and a file containing all the web site text. You return the spreadsheet with a new column containing the equivalent in your language, and return the translated help text and web site text.

b) We then supply you a test version of Printpak in your language, to go through and check for problems. Typically these will either be where you have mistaken the meaning and/or context of the original English, or where the translation you have suggested is too long (e.g. where it needs to go on a button). We then fix those problems.

N.B. Non-European scripts should not present too great a problem, but we would rely heavily on you to check for and identify issues. There may be technical issues surrounding ideographic languages such as Chinese, but we look forward to overcoming them.
